Who We Are
Half-Moon is a women-owned jewelry brand based on Oʻahu, created by two best friends, Kenzie and Nora. Rooted in a shared love of the ocean, creativity, and coastal living, Half-Moon grew from years of beach days, mermaid stories, and making things by hand.
What started as a creative outlet became a way to share pieces that feel meaningful, lasting, and made with care. Inspired by the coastlines of Hawaiʻi and California, we design jewelry for everyday wear — for anyone who wants to feel connected, confident, and a little bit magical.
Our Mission
At Half-Moon, our mission is to create lasting jewelry made for real life. Our pieces are designed to move with you — whether you’re diving, surfing, sweating, or simply living by the water. We believe jewelry should be worn, not worried over, which is why we work exclusively with gold-filled and sterling silver materials that are made to endure every environment.

Ethics and Sustainability
Our process is guided by care, intention, and reciprocity with the ocean.
When we collect shells, we do so responsibly — only gathering shells that we are certain are unoccupied. Any shells we do not use are returned to the ocean, allowing them to continue their natural cycle. We believe in taking only what is needed and giving back whenever possible.
We also prioritize sourcing our materials from other small businesses, ensuring that the jewelry we create supports ethical working conditions and thoughtful production practices. By choosing quality materials and small-batch sourcing, we aim to move away from fast fashion and toward jewelry that is made to last — for both people and the planet.

Sterling Silver
Our sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, known for its brilliant shine and durability. Each piece is carefully crafted to maintain its luster for years to come.
Gold Filled
Our gold filled jewelry features a thick layer of 14K gold bonded to a base metal core. Unlike gold plating, gold filled pieces are highly durable and tarnish-resistant, offering the beauty of solid gold at an accessible price point.
Freshwater Pearls
We use genuine freshwater pearls, each with its own unique luster and character. Sustainably cultivated and hand-selected for quality, our pearls add timeless elegance to every piece. Their natural variations make each creation truly one-of-a-kind.
